"my seaside place"
Day by day, time to time I will add something about the place where I go to the seaside...so..stay tuned!
saturday april, 28th we went out for dinner in CERIALE that is a small town on the coast really close to Albenga. Is called IL FARO and is reachable driving on the AURELIA, turning at the trafic light for PEAGNA.
all the menu is seafood, fresh, tons of appetizers, risotto con frutti di mare, grilled fish...all for less than 50.000 each. Dessert, wine and water included.
Homemade food, familiar and not luxurius or fine dining...but extremely good. HUGE parking.-

As it's the season now...good weather is coming and you would probably like to go for a short vacation to see the wonderful Riviera close to France...some places where you will eat great food....
SERAFINO DI CERVO
located in the nice village close to Diano Marina, up on a hill, with a direct view of the sea, Cervo has a great church that has the colors and the facade of a wedding cake. You can walk, climbing steps...and see old houses with a breathtaking view on the sea.
Serafino is a great bar, with a panoramic terrace.
The owner is a bit....moody and he is really a caracther, but his way of cooking seafood is simply great.

"Laigueglia....."
I go there to the beach. Bagni Pino...they are the best, and water in Laigueglia is nice and green as in the isles of the south.
Usually, when I do not eat at my beach, Bagni PINO...where they have a great cook, seafood is fresh all the day, for a quick snack they have the best hamburger but is a bit pricy...
anyway, we sometime go at the LE CANARD

"L'Ingauno"
Nice restaurant in Garlenda, 4 km. from Albenga. This restaurant make the typical fried bread with speack and a blue cheese cream + rice salad + special herbs omelette from Liguria and the pasta is of your choice (better to book) ask me for the tel. number as I have it stored and takes time to search for it now!
