My best football related moment in Genoa
by Calcio
My first game in Genoa was the derby Sampdoria-Genoa 2002/03. I had high expectations, but I could never imagine it would be that good! Despite that it was raining over me the whole game, the tickets we had ordered were gone when we got to the stadium, and that it was actually a game in Serie B – it really was a fantastic moment! The atmosphere was fantastic, the songs went all around the stadium, and since the stadium is so tight, it felt like I was standing next to the hardcore-supporters in the curva. An amazing game, and I so hope that Genoa will go up in the Serie A to next season, so there will be another derby.
aadil & art...

the evening after we are better organized and before dinner there is time for a short walk, here we are in front of S. Maria di Castello, a church with ex-voto and other pieces of art, which once again was adviced to me from master utttz when he knew about aadil's interest for art...
The Natural Habitat
by NeeNaVal
The sea is a basic part of Italian culture. After a day of fishing, local fishermen spend the remainder of daylight enjoying each other's company and re-living their experiences.
Students walk and travel by public transportation to school each day.
Genoa Aquarium and port area provide educational experiences for field trips.
Train ride into hills
by leojhawt
A great thing to do is to take the train form the cassella station. It winds up and over the mountains without rack and pinion. It's 75 years old and is a bit shaky, but is outstanding for views and seeing the mountains.

Ambassadore San Paolo (utttz) recommends to go by motorbike - easy to park even in front of 'Library San Paolo' ...
...and I may only add : WHY NOT ???
(I simply took the picture of Paolo and his motorbike and found out about the 'liberia San Paolo', when scanning - if you enlarge the pic - you will see what I mean)
