Cheap, Somewhat Seedy, But Convenient. Oh, & Cheap
I arrived at 11:00 pm at the airport and needed to be back at the airport at 6:00 am, so I just needed a quick crash pad. Hotel Serafino fit the bill nicely. It was a 5 minute cab ride from the airport and a single with an adequate bathroom, decent room and tv (if you care) was only 26 Euro. Which is not too shabby when compared to the 200 some Euro the Sheraton at the airport wanted. Now, I wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone who is planning on spending time in Genova, but as an alternative to sleep on a chair at the airport, it performed admirably.
Unique Quality: It's general lack of unique qualities. Breakfast included at the bar downstairs. No elevator and the reception desk upstairs above the ground floor.
