The 13th August in Loano there is the festival of the witches (basüe in ligurian dialect) in the streets of the center and in the promenade. There is a procession with nobles, jokers, wizards, knight, monsters and drummers who escort the witch to stake; in the end there is a spectacle of fireworks from the seaside
