The Perfect Cinque Terre Accomodation

I found da Baranin through my VT friend, EllenH of Montana. She loves the Cinque Terre, and recommended this place.

It was perfect. My friends LOVED it. Newly renovated rooms, new furniture, new bathrooms - not luxurious, but more than adequate. Spotlessly clean.

And breakfast on the terrace! A fabulous selection of various kinds of breads. Oh, we loved them. Orange juice, spreads, your choice of hot beverage (the caffe latte was wonderful).

So incredibly beautiful.

Our only disappointment was there was never seemed to be anyone around to open the bar late in the afternoon. We would have enjoyed a drink on the terrace.

Unique Quality: Very reasonably priced - in high season we paid only 60 euros for a single, and 80 for a double, including breakfast. And breakfast on the terrace was a true delight.

friendly clean and inexpensive

we loved this place and are going to stay again this year. the owners are very nice, speak pretty good english, its in a quiet location, its very pretty, nice walk down the hill to town or to the train station.

Unique Quality: nice balconies with nice views.

Recommended Accomodation

Though I did not stay here, this place came highly recommended from a friend who did. I was seeking cheaper rates, and that is the only reason I did not stay here. This place offers rooms, studios and apartments. Some are available with sea views, and all have their own independent entrances. Prices range from 65 per night to 110 Euro per night (per two people), depending on if you want a room or apartment. Sea view is 10 Euro more per night.

Room with a view

The Superior room overlooked the town of Manarola. Not a hike one wants to do late in the evening after traveleing all day but the view was definitely a memorable one the following morning.

I felt like a pro explaining to jenn75, the johnny , and zuzu the etiquette behind the color coded trash bins in the bathroom.
