Very pleasant hotel

Very nice and extremely clean. This is a small hotel that has a little bar area in the lobby. You can eat breakfast inside or out in the garden where you are surrounded by citrus trees and other plants. Some rooms have balconies with tables and chairs - ours did and it was wonderful sitting there, eating a picnic lunch from the store and drinking local wine. I think there are only 8 or 9 rooms in the hotel and it is on three levels without elevator. The rooms were the usual small European rooms but worked fine. You pay extra for breakfast which is pretty much bread and packaged rolls with tea, coffee and juice. It was fine but not great.

Unique Quality: The manager/owner was very helpful with information. When I contacted him with our dates, he emailed back that there was no vacancy those days but gave me alternative days that were available. This was very helpful as our time was flexible. Another benefit is that he did not have the usual three day minimum I was running into with several other hotels in the Cinque Terre. I would stay there again - very happy with it.
