Villa Caribe or Hotel Punta Mesco in Monterosso
After looking for accomodation at lot of places in 5terre for one night. These are the two options that have availability Villa Caribe vs Punta Mesco. I cant decide which one to take. Punta Mesco is 55 euros more expnsive and the rooms are without a sea view. I would want to take Punta Mesco,only if Villa Caribe is really bad
Has anyone any idea of how Villa Caribe is?? They say its about 300mts from the sea

I just asked a friend of mine - she's from Monterosso and works in Punta Mesco hotel :) Villa Caribe is a b&b and its room are FAR away from the sea, so you'd better go for Punta Mesco. I've never seen the rooms but from the outside is a nice hotel and about 200m from the sea.

Italy: Cinque Terre
I have been doing some research into 3 star accommodation in the Cinque Terre area...and have come up with several possibilites...looking for any feedback on Hotel Punta Mesca, Villa Steno or Mar Mar....basically I am hoping to pay under EUR100 per night...in July...and stay somewhere central with a nice balcony....not necessarily a seaview. Hopefully I'm not asking too much.....but I am realistic about it being high season....
Any other tips/feedback/hotel recommendations would be great....................

Punta Mesco is said being the hotel with the best view in Italy, but I'm not sure it fits your budget

Thankyou ZoT....I think Punta Mesca is over budget...however I guess if the view is something special maybe its worth the extra...its hard to tell from their website...............cheers
