Manuel's Guesthouse

more relax.. less touristy

Unfortunately, we were double booked.. Kate, who I was in contact with, did managed to inform me via email 1 week later. But I was already in Paris, had limit connection to internet there.. so I missed it.. I called Manuel on mobile to confirm one day before arriving.. He didn't tell me anything about the double booking but only welcoming us... When we arrived in Monterosso, he was waiting for us in the town center.. Soon later, his nephew showed up and explained to us the situation. Thanks to them, they've already manage us to stay in another place owns by a nice lady.. during our waiting for the landlord lady.. He pointed out their guest house on the hill.. a nice pink building.. He was nice to invite us to have a drink on their good view terrace later on.. though we didn't make it during our stay.. It was a pity that we didn't get to stay in Manuel's place.. I did quite a bit research before the trip.. it seems everyone who has been his guest had a brilliant review for that place... through a few words we had with himself and his nephew, both are very kind and warm hearted gentlemen.. I wish next time we would be able to stay there.. I believe it should be very nice..
