Lovely hotel on the Edge of the Ocean
A beautiful - very large - triple room here only cost something like 180 Euros per night. It was very modern inside - possibly even been refurbished recently, as the bathroom looked brand new. All rooms have stunning views over the ocean into the gulf of La Spezia. Lovely breakfasts were served each morning on the al-fresco terrace, also with stunning views of the water and mainland.
The staff were just so accommodating (maybe they felt sorry for us after our ordeal in Milan - see intro page).
We would definately stay here again if we return to Portovenere.

On the Gulf of Poets
This is an excellent hotel with a gorgeous view onto the Ligurian Sea and the Gulf of Poets.
The room and service were top notch, with breakfast served on the wonderful porch.
