Great Hotel on the Sea!
We had a wonderful week at this Grand and classy hotel in Sestri Levante. We stayed on the 6th floor in newer building and had great views of both Bays. Firm bed, big bathroom, great service. Terrific Breakfast outside every morning in the garden. Hotel is in a GREAT location - across from the beach, near the train and easy day trips in every direction. Lovely pool and sun area. Many Restaurants near by -- especially La Terrazza across the straight. Worthy of its 4 stars indeed!
Unique Quality: Didnt see the rooms in the Old building -- but lobby had great old world charm. Newer building is very nice on the inside, not too attractive on the outside. Fantastic views from the 6th floor room we had. The pool area is lovely and the garden patio where the buffet breakfast was provided was also very lovely. Bathroom was quite large for European standards. The hotel has parking (8 euros a day) and the beach club is very nice (lounges and umbrellas available) but is apparently costly in the high season.

Good Location, Nice Hotel
Very comfortable & relaxing
Unique Quality: Stay in the old part if you can, it may be a little 'worn' but it has the charm. Overall the hotel is worth the 4* rating with service being competent but not exceptional. The garden & pool are a true oasis from the hussle & bussle of the town, which is also great with nice restuarants.
We had a really nice holiday here and would visit again

An old villa built in local style, turned into a 4 stars hotel with private beach, large private park and pool.
Ideally located at the center of the sea boulevard.

Q: so i have a week, will be carless, and don't speak italian "going to park here and do day trips as the whole carless thing is hard and i have a ton of crap i have to lug around as i am doing..."
