Hotels
by Aurorae
All along the lakeside there are numerous hotels, in beautiful earthly shade colours, but also bright ones, like pink, red and yellow. They are very expensive, but as Bellagio is quite a pompous place, that is to be expected. Nonetheless, they are very beautiful and give a cheerful disposition to the place.
Hillside view
by Aurorae
When you're arriving to bellagio you'll face this beautiful view, of the town scattered on the hills over the lake, all in fantastic colours, and beautiful Alps behind. Stop for a while and admire the view! :)

Lecco
by Aurorae
Lecco is another beautiful town easily reachabke from Bellagio, either by ferry or car. There is also a bus but I wouldn't recommend that, it's long and a hassle. Lecco is the biggest town in the area, together with Como. it numbers more than 50.000 souls and it's an economical and cultural center as well. The lakeside and the center as especially beautiful, and the hiking in the mountains behind unforgettably thrilling! Check out my Lecco page for more!
Milan to Bellagio - car.
by Openseas
Distances.
Milan to Bellagio by car 75 kilometres from Milan.
Just use the autobahn and don't miss the turn-off, if you do its better to go back than attempt the road along the lake from Lake Como to Bellagio. Its takes approx 1hour and is very hairy with tight bends and curves although the scenery is spectacular.
