Where to buy matchtickets
by Calcio
There are at least two ticket-offices outside the stadium. Above the office you’ll see the map on which sectors to tickets to go, so make sure you choose where to sit before you buy your ticket.
A good thing with Atalanta is that they sell the tickets for a very cheap price. You can see a Serie A-game for as little as 8 euro. And a ticket for the lower sector on the longstands, from where you’ll see great, just cost 14-15 euro. More expensive tickets goes for 30-40 euro.
Tickets for Albinoleffe is even cheaper as they’re playing in the Serie B. Unfortunately not that much cheaper, since they are aren’t as generous as big brother Atalanta.
Arlecchino
by barrikello
Arlecchino is one of the most popular masks of the Comedy of Art. He was born in Bergamo (in the Brembo valley, at Oneta) and soon moved to Venice. He was poor and wore a dress made of colourful cloths stitched together. Arlecchino is naive and simpleton but cunning, embodying the countryside illiterate.
Walk along the Venetian city walls
by irisbe
We now reached Porta S. Agostino.
It is the main entrance into the old city. I remember when Enrica drove us from the airport to the Città Alta, she pointed up with her finger saying something about “look Venetian lion”, but the car was already passing through the gate before we had a good glimpse of the lion above this entrance.
Now I had a second chance to have a better and closer look.
I read the gate originally had a wooden bridge that got replaced in 1781 by stonework arcades.
It is built in grey sandstone.
Citta Alta: just walk!
by Mahieu
The Citta Alta is such a nice area that walking is actually the only option to discover it. Wandering through the narrow streets, discovering nice little squares or beautiful views: this is how you can best enjoy the beautiful city of Bergamo!
