We will be arriving at Verona (Brescia airport(VBS) on a ryan air flight at 7.40 am Saturday. Is there is a bus service to Brescia,and if so, how oten does it run and how long does it take.
Actually we chose this break because of a really good offer from Ryan air but we have no idea what Brescia is like. Help!!
Any idesa on where to stay. Somewhere nice and central but not too expensive. What to do on Saturday evening and Sunday? We like nice cosy restaurants and just wandering around. Thanks everyone

VBS is called Verona only by Ryan air... For everyone else it is Brescia ;-)
A simple Bus will bring you to the citycenter. See the airport Site for details

The ruins of the Roman Theatre, still under the excavation works, stands next to the Capitolium. According to its proportions, the town of Brescia was important settlement in the Roman times.
Unfortunately, I couldn't seen any progress in the reconstruction works since my last visit of the site which was more then a year ago.
The squares of the main streets of the town are lined by arcades that once contained the fruit and vegetables markets.
On this picture you can see the arcades in Via di X Giornate, which connects centre of the town (Corso Zanardelli) and Piazza di Loggia. Some of most attractive town shops are situated under this arcades.
