Do you know where I could find a trekking map (on line) of Monte Baldo or Monte Pasubio ? Or any other ideas / suggestions for a two days hiking not to far from Desenzano / Garda Lake ? More important than distance is easiness to reach the trekking starting point.

Hi,
I don't know where you can find these maps online. We went there using the advice of the Lonely Planet walking in Italy guide. It is very easy to get good local map in the stores right under the station of the cable going to Monte Baldo.
We went to the top point of the cable (easy access from Malcesine), and did a day's hike going back to the same point.
Another hike we did was on the other side of the lake, from Limone (also described in the book, only they describe a long trail and we did only part of it to make it in a day). The climb in that part was rather steep and so was the descent. We arrived to Limone by car, but I think there is public transportation too. Again - the same regional map of Trentino - Alto adige.
This is an real oldtimer, the boat which used to serve for the transports across and around the Lake of Garda in the beginning of the 20th century. It has steam engine which released huge smoke through smoke-stack situated on its starboard.
The boat, which is well preserved and beautiful, is situated in the central part of the harbour, right opposite to the old city port.
