Morning serenity
by Aurorae
You'd expect the morning on the lake to be still, but in fact it's not. There are so many people around, mainly athletes, jogging or doing water sports (especially windsurfing). The wind is very strong in the morning, and they take advantage of it. As the day goes by, the wind slows down...

More Dolomiti

Another close up of the impressive mountain chain, and the green ambience!
Dolomiti are said to be the most beautiful mountains of Europe, and I totally agree! The sceneries are surreal! The contrast between high naked greay peaks and exuberant green valleys is unforgettable!
S.Martino views
by Aurorae
The views from S.Martino mountain is more than impressive! This was taken on an autumn Sunday from one of the terraces above the vertical cliffs of S.Martino. Stunning and breathtaking! THe best is to come on the days when there isn't much fog, when the visibility is high. All the efforts of exhausting climbing pays off once you have this sight in front of your eyes, and the serenity of the nature around you. Heaven!

small
by Aurorae
When you climb up, everything seems to be so small and tiny, and the boats on the lake seem like little bugs buzzing around! You can't even hear the noise! :)
But the view is still impressive!
Also, the area is very safe, there is no danger of rocks rolling down the mountains, because they are all well tied up as you can see on this photo.
