Lodi
"Lodi - Piazza Vittoria (Vittoria square)"
Lodi is a very famous old town in Lombardia. The boast of the city is the ancient diocese dated 375 A.C. The heart of the city is Vittoria Square that is rounded by ancient mansions and colonnades. From the square you can see the Cathedral (dated 1158) and the Broletto Palace (dated 1284), where is kept the Federico Barbarossa's portrait. The facade of the Cathedral is very singular as the bell-tower creates an asymmetric effect. In Lodi there is also the Incoronata Sanctuary projected by the architect Giovanni Battagio in 1488. The building is plenty of paintings and decorations. Don't loose the opportunity to visit the Civic Museum where you can admire the ceramic collection.
