The best hostel
This hostel was cheap, clean, safe, fun and the rooms had a great view. I was nervous at first about it, but it was worth it. My husband and I booked a private room (it had 4 bunk beds), with bathroom inside. It was great. Breakfast is also included and they also serve dinner upon request. The food that they serve every night is delicious and worth it. It is about 12 euros per person and it has 2 courses, drinks and desert all included. very very good. You have to book dinner before 6:00 pm and it is served at 8:00 pm.

Hostel in Menaggio
Nice place next to the lake and close to the harbour. It´s quite cosy with a nice garden, terrace and a lounge. Staff is very nice and speaks english. We had a room with a view to the lake, which is nice, but road to Como, Milano etc. runs just under the window, so there´s noice during the night. They serve a nice 3-course dinner, including wine, for 10 euros.
Unique Quality: This is a good base, if you want to spend few days travelling around Como-lake.
