Moderately Priced and Clean

The Agape Hotel is not close to the center but there is a tram stop 5 minutes walking. If you are driving a car to Milano, I recommend that you consider this hotel as there is street parking that can be found without paying.
We found the hotel to be clean, efficient and helpful with directions to sites.
They have satellite televisions in the room.
The two of us paid 70 euro. The room turned out to be better than expected, spacious with a shower that was large. The room had air conditioning, a small fridge, and hair dryer.
Breakfast is served from 7 to 10.30 and is more than adequate. A wide buffet with sweet and salty food, fruit, yogurth and cereals. This area is also clean and well kept.

Unique Quality: The price was right considering this is Milano. You can find parking on the street, and the rooms are very modern.
We did not mind the tram ride, which after a few minutes became the underground and it went direct to the train station.

Agape Hotel

I was looking for a nice and cheap hotel to spend a week end in Milano and my friend Michele suggested me Hotel Agape. I booked a double room with private bathroom and breakfast included for 70 euro. From the Stazione Centrale you get on the metro line 2 (green) and you get off at Crescenzago stop. You will see the Agape Hotel sign right out of the Metro Station. It is a short walk. The area felt very safe and quiet, it is not a central area, just a neighborhood where people live.
The Hotel is nice, the people working there are friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean, nice and the bathroom was spacious with shower and with big and good towel. Every room have a tv set, some of them equipped with satellite tv, air conditioning, frigo bar and hairdryer.
Breakfast is served from 7 to 10.30 and is huge. A wide buffet with sweet and salty food, fruit, yogurth and cereals. Really nothing is missed.
We arrived in the early morning and they kept our backpack in a closed room as we were too early to check in.

Unique Quality: The location is great, being so close to the Underground it allow you to get around really easy but, at the same time, it is in a very quiet area.
Breakfast is great and will prepare you to a long sighseeing day.
I would certainly reccomed it.

A bit out of the centre, but very comfortable

Hotel Agape is a three-star hotel, offering single, double and triple rooms with bedroom. The rooms are very spacious, equipped with TV (some rooms can receive the Italian digital TV, SKY) and with a minibar. Bedrooms include lavabo, bidet, WC, bath with shower and many utilities for your hygiene, such as shampoo and bath foam with the logo of the hotel.
The buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room. You can have almost anything you'd like: coffee, cappuccino, orange juice, bread with jam, cakes, biscuits and even ham, mortadella, cheese...
If you come by car, you can leave it in a guarded car park located in via Bòttego, not far from the hotel, for 16 euro a day.

Unique Quality: The unique quality of this hotel is... peace. Despite lying in the outer Milano, in a popular quartier, it is extremely quiet: we never heard any traffic noise at night! The only problem I had with our room was the hot temperature: I often had to pull off my pyjamas!
We found a very convenient price on the website Booking.com and paid just 386 euro for four night.
I recommended this hotel to my VT friend Orietta (oriettaIT) when she went to Milan and she was very happy about it, too.
