Visit the San Siro football...
by scataudo
Visit the San Siro football stadium. An 80,000 capacity stadium, all football fans must visit this huge home of AC Milan and Internazionale. Renovated for the 1990 World Cup, it's size alone will blow you away. Tickets for games are inexpensive, and the capacity means that only the big games are difficult to get tickets for. Your best bet are early European games that kick off during the evening. One of my fist memories is going to watch the Milan derby with my father as an infant before our family emigrated to England. I can remember only the atmosphere (and being frightened by the crowds) and sitting on his shoulders to watch the match take place. I still have a seat cushion from that day - always buy a souvenir!

San Simpliciano
by Diana75
San Simpliciano is one of the oldest churches in Milan, build around the 4th century on the site of a pagan cemetery on S. Ambrogio's order and finished by S. Simpliciano.
Following different restorations during the centuries, the church has today a typical lombard facade and three stone portals.
The church's history is associated with the victory in the battle of Legnano (due to the miraculour intervention of three saints buried here: Martirio, Sisinio and Alessandro) and every year this victory is celebrated in the church on May 29th.

Malpensa to Milano
by Erkmen
As I tried the Malpensa Express on my first visit I decided to try the Shuttle bus service on my next visit and so did I..
Second Option: Shuttle Bus to Milano Centrale
If you are going to continue to a furher city or if you are going to stay around Central Train Station, without doubt use this was of transport.
Shuttle Buses leaves almost every 20 minute just outside the departure hall. Buses are modern and easy to find, they cost cheaper than Malpensa Expres..
I was wondering the travel time as express Train was covering the distance in 45 minutes, how come a bus can travel in a similar period, considering the Traffic.
My flight has landed at 10:30 and at around 11:00, I was at the bus and just in 55 minutes we arrived to Milano Centrale, Although we made stops at the Big fair ground.
So both options are good for transport and if you have to decide, decide accordingly
1) Malpensa Express is good if you are going to Milan Center
2) Malpensa Shuttles are good if you are going to take a connection train or if you stay around centrale
Note: Milano Central Train station is not really at the center, hence its far from the center
