Gli Milanesi Sono Industriosi ;-)
by Krystynn
Yes, the Milanese rae certainly very industrious. In fact, they are the European version of the Japanese i.e. they are so hardworking! Most of them tend to work continous hours from 9.00 a.m. to as late as 7PM-8PM. I should know because I still see my fellow Italian colleagues at the office even at this hour!
I thought only the Singaporeans and Japanese are workaholics. :-) Kudos to them. It is these people that make Milan the richest city in Italy.
Well done!
Papiniano Market
by draguza
If designer shopping is upsetting the bank balance, head to the popular Saturday market, Mercato di Viale Papiniano by the canals. Get there early (it opens at 8.30am) and bag the first load of designer stock. Aim for the Piazza Sant'Agostino end for the best stock. You'll also find good quality leather goods and cool clothing. There's also a Tuesday-morning flea market at the same spot.
On Tuesdays 7.30-13.00
On Saturdays 7.30-17
Adress: viale Papiniano
Milan has a full array of...
by Geisha_Girl
Milan has a full array of nightspots, and one of my favorites was the club Tocqueville 13. They played high energy, Euro house and techno and the place is filled with a high percentage of the gorgeous Milan model circuit.
It's always nice to have wonderful 'eye candy' when you're on the dancefloor! Dress code was very trendy/casual. I didn't spot any 'suits' the night I went and the crowd was very stylish.
