Excellent budget hotel!
Pronounced "fen-ich-ay" which we discovered from a taxi driver after pronouncing it "fen-iss", the hotel is about 15 minutes taxi from the airport.
The rooms were very clean, with modern bathroom facilities. The staff were friendly but a basic knowledge of Italian helped us a lot , as the staff didn't speak a lot of English.
Our room had 2 single beds and a single sofa bed, a TV, and a large wardobe.
Our balcony was huge (see picture on first page) which came in very handy for getting all the girls together to drink copious amounts of champagne before we headed out for the night.
Unique Quality: The Fenice is in an ideal location - not too far away from the main shopping area, but not so close to the action that you can't get a good nights sleep.
