Bergamo Airport - Transport to Milan
Can any one advise the best way to get from Bergamo Airport to centre of Milan (travelling approx 1600 on a Tuesday).

You'll get at Orio al Serio, which is the airport nearby Bergamo. As far as I know, there is a bus from the airport to Milano (the distance is 50 km), or you can take the train (check on www.trenitalia.it) which is more comfortable. The train takes you almost in the very centre of the town, you have 16 min. walking distance to the Duomo.

Most convenient to get a bus that leaves from right outside the airport to Milan Central Station.

Thank you very much. Do you know Central Milan well? If so, would you happen to know if the Grand Visconti Palace Hotel is walking distance from central bus station? (I know it's fairly new hotel so may not be well known). Just thought it was worth a try to ask!

That hotel in near Piazza Lodi and not even too close to the center of the city, so it's not within walking distance from the bus station you're interested in. You can easily take the subway to the center from there, however.

Yes, that is the right Metro Stop. From the Stazione Centrale, just make sure you get on the yellow line (and not the green line) that'll take you straight to Lodi. The hotel shouldn't be too far from the tube station. It's on Viale Isonzo... follow the exit signs for it from inside the station. Might pay to print out a map of the area just in case you get confused, because the Lodi station has a few exits.
Don't worry too much, you'll be fine.
