MY FAVOURITE HOTEL IN ITALY

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on May 16, 2015

I have stayed in more than a dozen Italian hotels over the years and this is the best I have ever stayed in. It may be an official 3-star hotel, but it felt like 6 stars to me. Let me start with the beds and pillows. After all you pay to sleep don’t you? The beds were awesome and the pillows are the best I have ever experienced in any hotel in the world. I found that the second I put my head down, I was asleep. If that isn’t good enough, I can tell you several other reasons you should book this hotel.

The hotel is very close to the main Train Station and the Metro. When I arrived I was made to feel like a visiting dignitary. As I was checking in I reminded the 2 gentlemen at the desk that I had requested a quiet room. They both giggled a little bit. And no wonder, my room, 110, was at the back of the hotel. In fact is had a small garden inside an enclosed courtyard. I even had garden furniture outside! No wonder the guys were giggling when I said something about a quiet room. I sat down on my bed briefly and almost fell asleep. I was in hotel heaven.

The rest of the room was quiet good. I had plenty of room, robes, slippers, plenty of closet space, a cold mini-bar and a TV. The bathroom was good sized and had reasonable toiletries. The only slightly disappointing thing was that the shower was a little small. Having said that it provided plenty of hot water and had good water pressure.

The hotel itself is well decorated and very quiet. They have a very nice looking lobby bar and even free coffee. They have a computer you can use in the lobby if you need to print off boarding passes. The local neighbourhood has a full grocery store, restaurants, bars and plenty of transport links. The busses that serve all the local airports park at the main train station just 3 blocks away.

I had a wonderful stay here and had a fantastic sleep every night. And the service is always with a smile. The people who work here are fantastic.

I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location and good value for money

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)

Booked our accom through wotif but then was quite unsure about the place with all the mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised at how convenient and clean the place was. The location is great - not too far from the Duomo area and just a short walk to Stazione Centrale. Our "deal" included breakfast which was also better than expected. Probably not exactly a 4star hotel, but pretty reasonable! Would recommend this to friends and family passing through Milan.

Unique Quality: Clean and Convenient.

Directions: Stazione Centrale
