First of all, if you can get this hotel for the rates we did, do it. We used booking.com and got our room for under 40 Euros. It is billed as 4 star, but I don't think that means the same thing as it does in the US, anyway. The first room we were taken to had not been cleaned - bed not made, used towels on floor. To the management's credit, they were mortified and apologetic. Our second room was lovely - large, with a double bed and a fold-out couch, bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and bidet, tv. Breakfast was an extra 10 Euro, which we opted for, but when we failed to get up in time for breakfast they removed the charge. We asked for a restaurant recommendation and were told that an excellent local restaurant offered pick up and drop off service, so we went for it. Unfortunately, it was the most disappointing meal of our entire trip. (See my review for Ristorante Enoteca Morganti.) We left this hotel when they refused to consider giving us the room for the same rate for a second night, and moved to another "4 star" hotel just a few blocks away, which was nearly the same low rate (also obtained through booking.com) The second hotel, Starhotel Tourist, Milan, included an excellent breakfast with the price. I will write a review for that hotel as well.
Unique Quality: While outside the city, it is close to transportation and can be had for very low prices.
