from malpensa airport i take malpensa express terminal 1

my hotel is garibaldi station holiday inn where is cardorna station?

Central station is closer than Cadorna station to your hotel but the Malpensa Express arrives in Cadorna only...
Here you must catch underground Line 2 (green), direction Cologno/Gessate and get off at Garibaldi F.S.
-Follow signs for "Passante Ferroviario" exit Via Pepe
-Proceed for about 400 m. till the end of the street, on your right hand side you will find your hotel, 5 minutes on foot from Garibaldi station.
Hy, Marco

At 6am, the traffic is usually still good to Malpensa, after it could be a problem. Motorway A9 is one of the worst in Europe.

The Monumentale Cemetery

by BurgerQueen

I know it may sound a bit gruesome, and I thought the same when my photo group proposed me to go there to take some pictures, but I changed my mind.
As the slogan says, it is an OPEN AIR MUSEUM.
Some Italian and international men of genius are buried here (such as Alessandro Manzoni, Salvatore Quasimodo, Isaac Newton, Francesco Hayez...), together with people coming from wealthy families that can grant the grave maintenance, which is very expensive.
I was so impressed by the beauty of the statues and the peaceful atmosphere that I can suggest a visit despite the unusual spot.
The graveyard is open from Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays), from 8am to 18pm.
Ask for the graveyard map as you arrive (which is free): it is easy to get lost in such a huge space.

Corso Buenos Aires

by abstract_diva about Clothes - not high fashion

Check out Corso Buenos Aires! Milan`s longest shopping-mile were the Italians shop. But it really can`t be compared to Shopping-Miles in other cities - small, dirty and BROKEN side-walks ABSOLUTLY KILL YOUR FEET and push, loud Italians don`t contribute to the well-being either...Anyway, all "affordable" Fashion brands + italian shops where you find great stuff for little money! Shoes, Bags, Jewellery, Accessoires 5-100 Euro

by teo_italy

If you arrive at the Malpensa Airport, using Malpensa-Express (a train) you can reach Cadorna railway station in the center of the city in 40 minutes. There are three subway lines that reach all the zones of the city. And using buses and trams (they are orange) you can reach every street of the city. There is much traffic in Milan and so it's better if you use the underground.
