Conveniently located

The hotel is rated 4-star, but I rate it a 4-star wannabe. We stayed in a room on the 2nd floor and the hallway reminds me of Star Wars- blue walls, the ceiling dotted with pinhole lights, and red floor. The walls remind me of "Do-it-yourself" sponge painting, which made the place look cheap. The room was spacious, however, for European standards, walls painted orange! The bathroom was okay even if the fixture, which is contemporary, somehow did not complement the tiled floor. It was just an odd combination. Breakfast was very basic, cold items only. The place was clean and the staff nice and helpful. I'd recommend it.

It is located in a neighborhood where ethnic minorities live, and there were many hanging out on the sidewalk in front of their buildings. But it wasn't too far away from trolley and underground stops. Also conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.

Parking is available for €14 a day.

Unique Quality: The courtyard was nice. Guests can read or relax out there.

Budget Hotel in Milan end of May

by Anchik

Hi everyone - looking to spend 2 days in Milan (May 28-May30th). Are there any budget hotels in a nice area (2 girls are traveling) that are close to Duomo and other attractions as well as the nightlife?

hi there...

I stayed in milan last year in July and we stayed for 2 nights also - we stayed at Hotel Sanpi Milano which was 120 euro per night and had 3 beds in the room...

hotel was okay... had a gym downstairs and good cable tv & only 2 blocks away from some shops/cafes etc...

go to their website and you will see the location

i could advise on hotels w/ further thought,
but i think you should definitely see the Last Supper of Da Vinci. you need to reserve it and you can do so online. it is one of the most important and best frescoes in the world.

Thank you for your advice - will definitely reserve that! Any other tips you may have on what to do/see would be much appreciated
