This hotel is just two blocks from Milano Centrale - which made it a good choice for catching an early morning shuttle to Malpensa for our flight home to the U.S. It's done up in typical Best Western decor, is frequented by business travelers and is a considerable walk from the main attractions but public transit stops are also nearby. Our superior room was spacious and equipped with free wifi, electric kettle, hairdryer, minibar, and air conditioning, but I read that standard accommodations are a bit smaller (no kettles) and singles are rather cramped: not an issue if you’re going to be out and about all day.
Breakfast is included in the tariff, and a buffet of muffins, pastries, juice, coffee, etc are set out in the lobby for guests like us needing to depart in pre-dawn hours. We found it clean, comfortable, friendly and quiet but probably only recommended for its proximity to the station: the neighborhood isn’t picturesque by any means nor is there much for shopping or sightseeing nearby. I’m not listing an average price as that can vary depending on season and type of room.
Bonus: the hotel is right across the street from Sant'Agostino dell'ordine dei Salesiani: very pretty when lit up at night!
