Hotel Mentana
I've spend 5 days in Hotel Mentana and I can affirm that it was a very good choice.
Unique Quality: This 4-star hotel is located in the peaceful Piazza Mentana, in the center of Milan, at about 400m from Piazza del Duomo.
This perfect location is allowing an easy access to the subway line 1 (Duomo) but also to the line 3 (Piazza Cordusio).
Via Torino shopping area is located at about 150m from the hotel and the closest monument is Biblioteca Ambrosiana.
The rooms are incredibly comfortable and the staff is very polite.

Does anyone know how to reach Hotel Mentana from Cadorna Station by foot? First time visiting Milan early next month. And how's the weather during early September?

Best thing for you is to open GOOGLE MAPS and go to DRIVING DIRECTIONS then put for Departure:
Piazzale Luigi Cadorna, 14, 20123 Mailand MI, Italia (Stazione di Milano Cadorna)
and end :
Hotel Mentana Milan
then instead of Driving change the box to Walking. 900 metres in 11 minutes !
