..... Work on the cathedral went on right through 19th century, during which time the spires and the towers with stairways inside were completed.
The whole complex construction, however, was badly in need of restoration, the first campaign was undertaken in 1935 and the second, even more complicated, after the bombardments of 1943. During the latter restoration project, the flooring was restored and the statues and decorative elements which had suffered the greatest war damage were replaced.
As you can see on my first picture, the cathedral is again under the major reconstructions, therefore the front side of it is covered and cannot be seen....
San Siro

The San Siro stadium is one of the most famous stadium in Europe and is home to the Italian giant's Internazionale and AC Milan. There are buses, trams and the metro all to chose from as ways to get there. Once there, it is possible to get on a stadium tour but they wanted passports (or other ID) before issuing passes. There was a merchandising shop but it was very small compared to the ones at Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool in England. If possible, it would definitely worth seeing a football match at this stadium.

The equally elegant Via Manzoni is home to Spazio Armani at no. 31. This is the Giorgio Armani multi-concept store where you can admire the Emporio Armani showrooms, Armani casa, and Armani fiori. You can also sip an aperitif at the Emporio Armani Cafè, or spend an evening at the restaurant Nobu, with a dinner by the best Japanese chef to emerge in the last 10 years: Nobuyuki Matsuhisa who opened this chain of restaurants together with Robert de Niro.
