Hi,
from Verona you will need to arrive by train to Milano Centrale (visit http://www.trenitalia.com/trenitalia.html for timetable)and here choose between the bus to Malpensa (departure just outside the station - about 1 hour) or the Malpensa Express, the train that leaves from Milano Cadorna (from Milano Centrale metro line 2-green, 5 stops), here the website for timetable and fares http://www.malpensaexpress.it/.

there are a few direct busES from Verona, but you need to book in advance. otherwise, a Trenitalia train to Milano Centrale and shuttle bus from there are the most convenient options.

Ciao

I just did this last june and will be doing it in march again - from verona will take the train to milan train station - go up the escalator and out - to your left and around the corner are busses to the airport - remember there are two - it is around 7.5 euro and you can buy them right at the bus - and they leave often - here may be a catch - for some reason the flight i take is at 9:45 am so it required an overnight stay because the train does not leave that early from verona - so we had to go to linate on the bus, call the hotel, then the airport shuttle was free and we stayed at the ascot malpensa - nothing around there so they will drive you to a restaurant - the next am - we left at 6 am and again a free shuttle that took us to malpensa - all in all it works

Travel Tips for Milan

Il Duomo

by croisbeauty

..... Work on the cathedral went on right through 19th century, during which time the spires and the towers with stairways inside were completed.
The whole complex construction, however, was badly in need of restoration, the first campaign was undertaken in 1935 and the second, even more complicated, after the bombardments of 1943. During the latter restoration project, the flooring was restored and the statues and decorative elements which had suffered the greatest war damage were replaced.
As you can see on my first picture, the cathedral is again under the major reconstructions, therefore the front side of it is covered and cannot be seen....

San Siro

by ratherton

The San Siro stadium is one of the most famous stadium in Europe and is home to the Italian giant's Internazionale and AC Milan. There are buses, trams and the metro all to chose from as ways to get there. Once there, it is possible to get on a stadium tour but they wanted passports (or other ID) before issuing passes. There was a merchandising shop but it was very small compared to the ones at Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool in England. If possible, it would definitely worth seeing a football match at this stadium.

Let’s start from the most famous of all the streets of fashion: Via Montenapoleone. This is where you can find, amongst others, the atelier-showrooms of: Gucci, Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo, Fratelli Rossetti, Etro, Loro Piana, Luis Vuitton, Prada, Valentino, Cartier and Tanino Crisci.
In Via Sant'Andrea, a street that crosses Via Montenapoleone you can find: Chanel, Fendi, Armani, Moschino, Kenzo, Cesare Paciotti, Hermés, Prada and Trussardi.
Via Sant'Andrea crosses the famous Via della Spiga, where you can enjoy the shop windows at: D&G, Krizia, Sergio Rossi, Gianfranco Ferré, Bottega Veneta, Tod's, Genny, Prada, Bulgari and Chopard.
The equally elegant Via Manzoni is home to Spazio Armani at no. 31. This is the Giorgio Armani multi-concept store where you can admire the Emporio Armani showrooms, Armani casa, and Armani fiori. You can also sip an aperitif at the Emporio Armani Cafè, or spend an evening at the restaurant Nobu, with a dinner by the best Japanese chef to emerge in the last 10 years: Nobuyuki Matsuhisa who opened this chain of restaurants together with Robert de Niro.

BAR BIANCO

by draguza about Bar Bianco

Given the typically clammy heat of Milan's summer, it's no surprise that many of the events in the summer take place in outdoor locations, like at BAR BIANCO, located in the middle of Parco Sempione, in amongst the trees. In this bar the have conquered the humidity by using cool-mist spraying fans and the pigeon problem by sprinkling seeds on the lawns opposite Informal
