 | Milan Rallye Reviews | 1 - 2 of 2 | | Just about 300 meter from the Central station in Milan you'll find the nice hotel Rallye. We came here on our last night in Milano and found it perfect for our needs. Not very luxury, but for 70 euro for a double room it's not what you're looking for. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom was of decent size. It closes at 2am, which was perfect for us giving us a reason to leave the bar in time, to not over sleep the flight in the morning... ;) The reception guy was very helpful and pre-ordered a taxi for us the night before. And then even got up in the morning to make sure we got away well with it. At the bottom floor there is a small bar which served all kinds of coffe, beer and wine. Not too sure about breakfast, as we were leaving at 5am...
The location of the hotel is great. Close to the Central station, and then also close to Corso Buenos Aires, the big shopping street. Just 100 meters away from the hotel you'll find Piazza Lima, which is the nearest metro station, which will take you to the Duomo, for example, in 6-8 minutes. I got the impression that there are no bigger differences in price depending on weekend or not, which is quite rare for a big city as Milan. Perfect to stay at during the weeks in other words. Turn left on that street, and after 2-300 meters you'll find Via Benedetto Marcello on your right. And there you'll also find Hotel Rallye after about 20 meters.
