Hotel is about 5 mins away from the Central Railway Station, thats all matters, but the rest is nothing to rate about ... :( Area is very bad and scary, especially at nights, several night life (!) business r available in the dark sides of the park which is close to Hotel etc ... In case u have to stay here, I strongly suggest to take cab in front of the hotel and as coming back to get off in front of the hotel, walking around at dark is not on my recommendations ...
Rooms need renovation, carpets and bathroom just 3 star refurbished, poor breakfast, poor internet connection, so, I suggest to look for another option to stay in ur next Milan visit ... b
Directions: 5 mins away from Central Station.
My wife and I will be arriving at the Central Train Station in Milan from Geneva on 29 Oct., prior to our 30 Oct. departure back home. We would like to stay close to the train station (if it is a nice area), and make the Malpensa Express train in the morning. Are there any nice/quality hotels close to the train station? or Do we need to just stay at the Jet Hotel near Malpensa Airport? Any helpful info would be appreciated.
For your information, the Malpensa Express train does not leave from the central station (Stazione Centrale) where you'll be arriving. Instead, it leaves from Cadorna Station which is several tube stops away or about a 10 minute taxi ride away from the Stazione Centrale.
Centrale station is not in the nicest of areas in my opinion. We did stay in that area, in a nice hotel (Hotel Terminal), but I didn't like the area at night. It was fine during the day though. Depends what you want really. If you're happy to take a cab somewhere in the evening, it's fine.
