This is a family run small hotel in a very quiet yet convenient part of Milan. It was the first stop on an 18 day Italian vacation and thanks to Paola, it was an easy transition into a foreign culture. After we unpacked and refreshed after an overnight flight we came down for a cappuchino (free), a map of Milano (also free) and an excellent description of all that Milano has to offer.
Paola's brother works afternoons and evenings and was equally helpful especially with restaurant recommendations.
Unique Quality: The most unique and valued quality is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The hotel itself is a very good 2 star accomodation and is reasonably priced. It is clean, quiet and located near public transportation. It offers a free breakfast that, in retrospect, was quite good. A great places to stay for tourists who don't speak Italian and are a bit shy about trying to.
