All that was expected

We stayed at the Westin prior to our visit to Bergamo for the Euromeet in 2012. It is a short walk, maybe 10 minutes, North from Stazione Centrale. This puts you within a 15-20 minute walk of the Cathedral. The hotel and staff are very nice, and the interior is top end, with lots of marble. The rooms are nice, but need some TLC, as some of the rugs and wall treatment are well past their "good till" date. The exercise room is excellent, with lots of space and pretty good equipment. We obtained an excellent rate using hotwire.... and I was able to figure out which hotel it was before clicking yes on "hotwire".

OK hotel...4 nights at $400 a night

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)

I was not too happy with the hotel, especially for $400 a night. The first night the power was out for about 2 hours. The heat woke me up, it was terrible. The breakfast, if not included, cost about 36 euros. It's definitely not worth it. The dinner at the restaurant was not very good either. I ordered Milanese Veal with two bottles of regular water and the bill was 63 euros. Avoid this place.
