hotel near Malpensa Airport
Our last night of vacation we need to stay in a hotel near Malpensa Airport. Does anybody have suggestions? I have been looking at hotels/motels close to Malpensa on several different web sites but am still very confussed! We will have a rental car to turn in. Thanks for your help. Dana

I haven't stayed near Malpensa myself, but whilst you are waiting for any personal recommendations I do suggest you look at www.venere.com if you have not done so already. It lists almost all Italian hotels, is entirely reliable and has honest reviews (because you can't post a review unless you've completed a stay booked through the site). www.booking.com is also very good indeed, but venere has the edge when it comes to Italy, imo.

If you have a rental car to return, be sure your hotel has a shuttle service and that it is running when you need it . . . or you can walk easily with luggage.

stayed at holiday inn express which was very close and 75 euro per night - the shuttle takes you from outside the airport to the hotel - clean, nothing much outside the hotel so if are arriving late in the day good - if early in the day makes for a really long stay on the last day of a trip.

Hi There's a Novotel near Malpensa (approx. 5 mins drive). It often has promotional rates.
Check with them (or with any other hotel)what time the shuttle service runs as most will stop between midnight & early in the morning. If you need to drop your car I assume you won't be that late but just in case...

Some shuttle services do not run on weekends too if that is a concern.
