Great hotel with a very friendly and efficient staff. We were rushed on arrival for a city tour and the hotel staff took care of immediately getting a taxi for us and taking care of parking our car. Excellent directions to a good restaurant that evening. Very adequate buffet breakfast. Highly recommended.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great going out of their way to attend to our needs. You need to keep in mind when in Italy that the hotel industry is drastically different to the western world i.e. smaller hotels, no real room service. However this is an exception for Italy - they provided us with toasted sandwiches at 1am after an arduous flight from Stansted. Definately recommend flying to Linate if you can - rather than Orio (Bergamo) its an hour journey and for a weekend its a no-no.
Hotel and the Rooms were very clean and quite large. I would have given the hotel a 5 rating if it was closer to a metro station. But its a 5min walk to the Tram and its a lovel spot near the park, so if you have time (we only had a weekend) this is ideal. Highly recommended
This is a spotlessly clean, very friendly hotel close to Milan city centre - long walk or short tram ride to central Milan. The rooms are comfortable and air conditioned. All the staff we met - receptionists, restaurant staff and cleaners - were helpful and friendly. We had two small toddlers in our party and the staff were never less than accommodating for all of us.
We would stay here again.
Thanks to the TripAdvisor community for directing me to this hotel. I got an amazing internet rate and when I got to the hotel I was so pleased. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless. I even lucked out with a room with 2 small balconies (#122). The gentlemen at the front desk were always helpful. The breakfast was complete and included in the rate. The hotel is in a nice area with beautiful streetscapes. Yes, it is a 12 minute walk to the Metro station or the Castello Sforzesco, but it it along shaded streets and parks.
This hotel is great. The bathrooms are beautiful as is the entire hotel. The front desk people are wonderful and helpful. If I return to Milan I would only stay at the Hotel Lancaster.
