Fabulous Hotel!
Very helpful and friendly front staff. Beautiful rooms with amazing bathrooms all done in white marble. The room size is massive with a sitting area.
Extremely clean and all amenties you would want. Location is great, walking
distance to all major sites.
Milan is a great city, especially if you like fashion!
Would highly recommend the Westin Milan Palace, it is most certainly up to the
Westin standard and beyond.
This was our second stay there and will definatly be staying there again.
Overpriced, great for romantics, but businessmen should look elsewhere

The Palace hotel has been rebadged as the Westin Palace. Previous reviews present an honest picture. Mildly musty and old fashioned, some may find this charming and typical for an Italian adventure, especially the romantic. For the businessman, all-day broadband at 12 euros is Ok, and one button (phone) service works quite well (rather than dialling different numbers for different services). No teamaking facilities in the Hotel for the English. They offer to bring a kettle (if it is available!), but no teabags.
The real downside for the hotel is the price. It is high, even by the standards of Milan. For the price I paid, I would expect much more, you can only get away with charging for 'quaintness' to the romantic, not the business or budget minded.
I would recommend this for romantics where money is no object, but for business, try it once or try elsewhere, Milan has a lot of hotels.

We are members of SPG, so we were automatically upgraded to a junior suite with a view of the park. The room was nicely done with a large bathroom, small sitting area and large comfy Heavenly bed. Service was impeccable, and the running map of the city provided by Westin was dead on. The hotel is probably better for business travellers than tourists, but I was happy with it. The location is great, it's right by a Metro station as well as the Centrale train station. The Cardona station is a 5 euro taxi ride away for easy airport access. And the Duomo and the Galleria are less than a mile away by foot.

I was disappointed by my stay at the Westin. My room was cramped and the decor outdated. The carpets had not been cleaned in ages and smelled of mites. The shower didn't work well and the lighting was poor. And I wonder if the bed was really a "Heavenly Bed"...
All in all, a disappointment in terms of the structure.
The personnel on the other hand was superb. You can tell that they are trained to provide world-class service.

Phenomenal experience!
Beautiful rooms and stunning bathrooms.
Check in was very quick and the person who checked us in even took us upstairs to show us our room.
There is a breakfast included in some of the rates, which is an excellent deal because it's a huge buffet.
The porters were really fast and efficient.
This is the only place I'd stay in Milan!
