From Sirmione to Sigurtà Park by... Bicycle!

Hello people!
On Summer 2010, VT member lettychuffy asked for Sirmione in forum. To help her on line I gave her my mobile number.
She had planned to visit Sigurtà Natural Park (take a look on http://www.sigurta.it/) but...
...it happened there was a strike of public transports!
So...
...what to do? It was a shame to miss it! How to reach the natural park?

We are often common to consider only train, bus, taxis and feet to move around a place we visit but...
...the bicycle? Isn't it an other interesting way to move around?
I sent a sms to VT lettychuffy with this idea...

So, people, if you have planned some days around Sirmione between May and September, I suggest to search for a bicycle and have an offbeat experience in this way: cycling slowly and getting a deep experience of countryside lands on South East of Sirmione.
Sigurtà park is located between "Borghetto" and "Valeggio sul Mincio", less than 25 km far from Sirmione and not so difficult to reach.

So, think about, get experience and let me know!

The best restaurant in Sirmione in the old castel

"Hostaria la bicocca" is one of the best restaurant in Sirmione, centrally positioned in the old core of the town. It has beautiful grotto, completely covered by old painting, which makes the restaurant like an old beautiful castle room.

The atmosphere and the service in this restaurant is just great. In case you not sure what to order, the stuff is very helpful so you just follow their suggestions.
I had very good pasta carbonara (ham and eggs), and a grilled beef's steak first quality with potatoes, season salad and quarter of excellent white local wine, and that costs me something less then 25 euros. I loved it!!!!
