Villa Rosa

This is a very convenient family run hotel, which puts you near the lake but not in the very busy centre of Sirmione. The bus stop for buses from both Verona and Brescia is situated 20 metres from the hotel. The hotel is set back and across the main road from the lake. Our room, which was at the end of the building had a balcony with distant views of the mountains - gorgeous! The hotel provides free bicycles for getting into the historic centre of Sirmione - about 1 km away. It is an easy walk for those who do not ride. The staff were exceptionally helpful and did all the phoning regarding buses and timings for our trip back to the airport at Montichiari. The room was basic but clean.
