Gradara is a medieval village an the hills, it is the scene of the story of Palolo and Francesca told by Dante in the 5th canto of La Divina Commedia. Story of love and passion with suicide at the end. A drama. Born in the 12th century still has a medieval look, nice narrow streets leads to the castle that can be visited. Nice view looking at the sea and smell the air. Very romantic place to walk hand in hand in the summer night with fresh breeze running thru the houses. Enjoy the peace and the view!
