The Fountain of Piazza del Popolo is situated in the heart of the Square and is the most elegant Fountain of the City. Built between 1588 and 1593, to replace the old one, the Fountain was destroied during the Second World War. It was rebuilt in 1960 following the original project, and in 1988.
