Eight of us are going to spend two weeks at the same hotel (Gala) in Pesaro. What should we see, do, where should we eat? Anyone been there before?
I think you should visit Urbino that's near Pesaro. I spent a couple of days there and I liked that town very much. Look at some VT pages about Urbino, I'm sure you'll like it.

Urbino, great to visit, go to eat at L'angolo Divino Osteria, and order tagliolini in brodo di agnello (lamb), you'll feel like a dream.
In Pesaro, stroll around the city centre and - in june - find a good place in the promenade to eat fish. Remind, the less it smells, the better it is.
Other places to visit are Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, and the countryside - Jesi, with the Enoteca Regionale is a must. Go there and you can have a choice of all the range of regional wines.

Hi there, my plans are to move to Pesaro, 2 weeks sounds like fun. It's a great place to experience the beach and city scene. Take a nice drive along the Adriatica and eat at Taverna del Pescatore, yummy, great panoramic view.
