Restaurants in Sirolo

by redhouserich

Hi- we are planning a few days around Easter in Sirolo. It sounds as if it might be expensive to eat out. Are there budget pizzerias or other restaurants? Will everything be open at Easter?

Thanks

I stayed at Hotel Stella
http://www.stellahotel.it/

We payed for mezza pensione, which meant we could choose between lunch or dinner with our stay. This worked out pretty nicely, we ended up having breakfast at the hotel, then we ended up snacking on something for lunch at La Grotta on the beach or Ristorante da Peppe.
The hotel is well situated near the main piazza and it over looks the ocean.
I would suggest looking for a hotel that offers mezza pensione. Here is a list of places to eat, some show pricing.

We were so surprised to learn that there was a golf course inside the Conero's Park named Conero Golf Club

It is an 18 holes championship course.
It's a par 72 Course.

Plus, there is an Executive Course!.

In addition, there is a Golf Academy, driving Range, chipping area, and putting Green..

The facilities of the golf club include:

Restaurant and Bar; a locker room, a pro Shop, swimming pool, two tennis courts, and a meeting room.

This course is open year round!

Here are the directions to the course:

By car: A14 motorway, Ancona Sud exit and then follow the provincial road to Conero (8 km)

Small Medieval Town on the Conero Riviera

"Urbani Beach Boats in Sirolo"

Below the beautiful small town of Sirolo lies the Urbani Beach with its pepple/sand beach, it's caves, its crystal clear waters, its tall cliffs, and its small coves. The sea here has been awarded a Blue Flag by the European Community because swimming is permitted along this stretch of coast; the waters are extremely clean.

The clean waters as well as a "limpid" seabed make for perfect conditions for the reproduction of a variety of fish species that are rarely found anywhere else.

"Stunning Views from Sirolo"

The very first photograph that I took was from the city park looking out over the Conero Riviera. It was a magical moment for us, and at that time, we were quite sure we had made the correct decision to spend time in Sirolo.

""Mount" Conero"

To the north of Sirolo rises the lush green massif of the Conero, the Mount whose brilliant white limestone cliffs reach very far out to sea before they drop off into the lovely blue waters.
