Hotel DOC: Avoid business hotels
If you plan on visiting as a tourist you may want to avoid business hotels in the smaller towns (such as Nizza Monerrato) - they are perfectly serviceable, but not at all memorable. This example is typical in Italy, with clean but basic rooms and services which is all that travelling Italian businessmen want. In a back street with no views and not at all geared for visiting tourists.

Cascine sui prati: Piedmont´s best place to rest
If you want to make a vacation on a place, where you can rest by nice hostages, you have to go to Willi and Christa.
They have two appartements - one for two persons and one for four or five persons. You have two bedrooms and one well equiped kitchen and living room. In the ground floor you can have a smaller " edition " with one bedroom and a great kitchen with living room. You can swimm in a large swimming pool. Enjoy it.
