Centro d'Ompio: Centro d'Ompio

Centro d'Ompio is a New Age center in the nature of the hills above Orta lake. It's a transcedental place in serene surroundings that wil guarantee peace of mind, amazing view, great and healthy food, some leisure and relaxing time and lots of smiles.
if you're into yoga, meditation, vegetarian food, energies and all that stuff, Centro d'Ompio is a place for you!
There is a bamboo garden, lots of flowers, swimming pool, meditation pavillon, nudist section, a dining terrace with SPECTACULAR view, peacocks (also white ones!), friendly staff... and mind you, you can stay and eat there for free, as long as you wash the dishes. Check out the web site!
But keep in mind you'll have means of transport, as it's pretty high up in the hills, and unless you have a car or a bike, it takes forever to go up/down.
But tranquility of an isolate place is guaranteed!

CAMPING: CAMPING

This is a private beach of the camping site, random visitors are not permitted, only the campers. However, campers can go to other beaches which are just a step away, but for some straneg reason they don't, they like theirs, even if it's a bit crowded and others are empty! Camping site is not so big, but not small either. it's lovely as all the campers get their lake view!

VILLA CRESPI: VILLA CRESPI

Villa Crespi is a hotel restaurant at the entrance to Orta San Giulio. It is Moorish style architecture, and to be honest, it remins me of a mosque a bit. There are some insrpitions in Arabic on the façade. It's very beautiful! And expensive. :-) it has its own HUUUUUUUge, but really HUUUUUUGE private gardens!
