Le Meridien: Ultra modern - everything has a button

One of the mainstays to the Lingotto development is the Le Meriden hotel complex.

In fact there are now two hotels, as the building at the end of the Lingotto complex, at right angles to the main building has become the Le Meridien Art & Tech Hotel.

The rooms are little on the 'clinical' side as the furnishings are mainly chic brushed aluminium.
The Walk-in shower had a set of dials on it that took longer to work out than it to actually take a shower !

Prices are steep (Rack rate of 410 Euro in the new building), but if there isn't a conference on at the time then prices can come down to a third or less of that figure.

The walls often feature Architects draughts and ideas about the conversion of Lingotto to new uses which are worth a look.

The main building is build around a semi-tropical garden, whilst the new Art & Tech Section features an glass lifts and a very large atrium through the middle of the building where breakfast is served.
