Very good and with a lake view.

It is a 4-star hotel, with good service and an excellent restaurant and bar. Some of the rooms are small, but the view of the lake is great.
The hotel has also a terrace by the lake with a swimming pool.

Unique Quality: What makes this hotel really unique is the fact that part of it was originally a convent, and the other part was an old villa. As a consequence, it is much more picturesque and interesting than any ordinary modern hotel.

Opinion of Price: more expensive than average

Lake Orta Hotels

I need a hotel on Lake Orta close to or similar location to the hotel Orta which seems to have a poor reputation but excellent position. I will have a group with me of 19. The hotel should be about 3 star rating. Any suggestions would be appreciated. All this will be for 2 days in May 2011.

When I was in Orta San Giulio I stayed at the San Rocco Hotel and it was very good, although my room was rather small. It is a 4-star hotel.

The San Rocco is very nice but quite expensive. I have requested Santa Caterina which is 3 star.
