La Luna del Notte residence hotel: Fantastic choice - best of trip
Stresa was probably the grandest of our destinations and became the highlight of the trip! Its' lakeside hotel row was a cross of Las Vegas Bellagio, Lake Como, and Venice Villas. We had a spacious bi-level 2 bed, 2 bath, 2 balcony apartment that included a sitting room/kitchenette with a terrace overlooking the Borremeo Islands. The staff welcomed us with a pitcher of iced tea and pastries; always asked if we needed reservations, drew us maps of where we were going in town, and helped us find a massage center and even a coiffeur for Ed.
