Jolly Hotel Ambasciatori: Evening drinks at the bar

We stayed here in June 2008 - nice central hotel with good rooms but the bathroom could have done with a refurb. The bar is supposed to be open until midnight but the very friendly barman seems to sometimes have other ideas - we arrived back one evening at 11.10pm to find he was still at the bar but was going home !! After some complaining at the main desk we did get a complimentary drink but that's not really the point. Would recommend if you can book it at an adventageous price only.
