To make a long story short, my daughter and I missed train connections, got caught up in traffic and were unable to catch a flight to the UK a day earlier than scheduled. (She is a huge English soccer fan). Little did we know that this would be a blessing in disguise. Primarily, thanks to owner/manager of the Nizza Hotel, across the street from Porta Nuova Railroad station! He gave us a gorgeous hotel room for 70 Euro but more importantly, was so kind. He taught us the word for Filipino- Filipinis. He served us a nice cup of LaVazza, and he gladly let us store our luggage until our flight left. The nicest hotel during our European vacation. When I return with my wife, we will stay here!
Unique Quality: Next door to a hotel that goes for over 200 Euro. I can't imagine that hotel being that much better than Hotel Nizza. We were on the fourth floor across the street from the railroad station and went out on the balcony to soak in the joy/happiness of Italians celebrating their WC victory over Ukraine.
