More Info about this town of VERCELLI, please...
Vercelli lies between Milano and Torino.
Ihave been there in summertime, found it wonderful and would like to come back in February to have a look on the winter's life.
Could anyone who is living there or around tell me more about it?
It is difficult too to get websites for accomodation for rent and maybe, for buy an apartment or house. Anyone could help??

the Region of Piedmont has a good info about Vercelli and the Po rice lands at www.piemonte-emozioni.it/itinerari/eng/07/index.shtml.
websites for rentals probably hard to come buy and definitely not in English, try googling for Vercelli allogio (rentals) or immobiliare (estate agents) but ony in Italian.

I have seen that you live in Asti, and I remember that I visited it too quicly with Alba too and I cannot remember which is the most pleasant, but I know both of them seem to me nice towns.
Have you been to Vercelli, you are not too far, don't you?

Hi Claude, funnily enough I haven't been in Vercelli, its not far away, but just haven't had the opportunity, so much to keep us busy around here. Vercelli is famous for its Basilica, one of these days I will visit, I'v ebeen to the one in nearby Novara and that one is stunning if you like these gothic type cathedrals.
